Affiliation Rules
By applying for affiliation you are saying that you speak to me regularly. You are my friend, not just an advertisement output. I have the right to delete you at any time for any reason. I will try to have some lee-way on the rules, but certain ones I need to have followed. If I do decide to delete you I will tell you. You may then remove my link. If you apply and are accepted I will either email or leave a comment on your site. Please respond to this so I know you've got it. Give me a few days or so to put up your link.
- Affiliates are friends not just hits.
- You must update/keep in contact once a week, update your Twitter, IM or email me, etc. There's no point linking you if I don't talk yo you. Notify me if you won't be able to do keep up with your site or at least speak to me. I'll do the same for you, of course.
- Don't be a jerk. Common sense.
- Your site cannot contain anything offensive. Swearing is fine, but pornographic, offensive material (explicit sexual content, racism, etc.
- Please link me somewhere visable.
- Where it says "have you read the rules?", write "Hello."
- Tell me if you're going on hiatus, closing, or on a revamp.
- Tell me if you're not going to be on your site for a while, for whatever reason. You don't need to explain or anything.
- I have a life offline, and you do, too. Please know that I'm not going to be on every minute of every day and I won't expect you to. Everything takes time and some days I won't have too much of it.
